Filter by context
Tasks Eye derives context labels relative to the notes folder and uses the toolbar filter to narrow Focus, board, and Done views.
Why it matters
Section titled “Why it matters”The folder tree already describes the broad context of a note. Tasks Eye uses that structure instead of adding another tag or frontmatter field.
Filtering is intentionally non-destructive: it changes the current view, not the notes themselves.
What to expect
Section titled “What to expect”- Context labels preserve every relative folder segment, including casing, spacing, and numeric prefixes.
- A nested folder such as
Mission/Platformis displayed exactly asMission/Platform. - Unknown persisted filters fall back to
All. - Changing the toolbar filter narrows visible rows without mutating notes.
