Note without a context folder

A note directly inside the notes folder root appears in Inbox until it is moved into a context folder.

Why it matters

The notes folder root is a fast capture location, while descendant folders provide the context Tasks Eye uses to organize work. A note left at the root has not yet been routed to its owning context.

Inbox makes that cleanup step explicit. Moving the note into any descendant folder resolves the issue without changing its Markdown.

What to expect

  • Notes directly inside the configured notes folder root are reported in Inbox.
  • The issue text is Note needs to be moved into a context folder.
  • Notes inside descendant folders do not trigger this issue.
  • An open root note remains visible in Open while it awaits a context folder.
